For easy and quick access up to 56 PLUs can be stored directly on the keyboard with the PLU description also appearing on the display. Flexible label formats means you can print an array of designs to suit your needs including not only product information such as weight and price but also ingredients, logo and promotional messages. With its unique label rewind feature the full length of the label can be utilised saving paper and cost. As well as standard barcodes the IX supports the new GS1 Databar format with all the potential benefits this brings the retailer from accurate stock control to reduced shrinkage of weighed items through the POS system. Self Service - The IX can be configured as a self service scale, particularly used in fresh fruit and vegetable departments. Simple and quick to use, the label is issued as soon as the product is selected. ECR Mode - When coupled with a cash drawer and scanner, the IX becomes a self-contained ECR system capable of producing full, detailed receipts, scanning items and managing operators. With a memory capable of storing 1000 PLUs, there's plenty of capacity to suit the individual needs of the local retailer. The customer and vendor displays clearly indicate items being added to the list and the total and operator and payment keys can be added to the keyboard, supporting up to 5 different payment types. Prepack - Produce cost-effective labels for weighed and non-weighed goods automatically using the pre-pack mode of the IX. Simply select the PLU once and place the products on the weigh pan to quickly and automatically produce labels for a series of the same product. Ideal for small store or market stall requirements for prepacked meats and other products. Pick and Mix - When all products share a common price and customers weigh and price their own goods, pick and mix mode is the ideal solution. Just one key is present on the keyboard making product selection simple and the scale easy to use. Networking is standard - Up to nine IX machines can be networked together, allowing the operator to float up and down the counter, taking a particular customer's transactions with them, easing their work and improving customer service. The IX can also be connected to a PC for updating products, label formats and keyboards using the MX020 software included as standard. Flexible label formats, attractive labels - The scale is delivered with six pre-defined label formats easily editable to suit the individual needs of the local retailer. With the ability to add a logo this allows the retailer to brand labels without the expense of pre-printed labels and reduce cost by standardising on either plain labels or continuous adhesive strip. The use of continuous adhesive strip also means the labels are always optimally sized to the amount of information required to print on them. Truly flexible, the IX can print up to 20 special messages per single product of up to 200 characters each, print sell by or use by dates and even rotate the label through 90°. This combined with its rewind capability and label savings makes the IX a versatile and cost effective scale. Models for every situation - The IX100 mono-block model offers everything the local retailer needs in one neat package and is ideal for any counter or self service application. The IX202 has a raised customer and vendor display, suitable for checkout-type applications. For those with less demanding requirements, the IX110 offers all the great advantages of the IX range but with a receipt-only printer and no interscale communications. MX020 - Powerful software rounds off the complete package - Included with every IX is the MX020 software the ideal tool to assist in the management of PLUs and design and editing of labels. Complete PLU management gives full visibility of the PLU description and price and how it will appear on the screen along with other associated data such as associated texts, tax reference, tares, dates and barcode. The label editor enables the user to design labels and send them to the scale.
