Ideal for pharmacists, chemists, jewellers, and for use in other commercial applications, Highland approved balances offer important features and functions needed for applications requiring a legal-for-trade weighing device. With EC Type/OIML approvals, the new Highland balance offers multiple weighing units – carats, grams or kilograms – plus RS-232 and USB interfaces, rechargeable battery and AC operation, capacity tracker, and more. An innovative design conveniently allows multiple balances to be stacked for easy storage when space is limited.

Still early days. I think the designer should of put the same legs on the front as they did the back. Also the blue plastic bowl and cover make no difference to the elements such as drafts and winds.

Hi Mark, thank you for you review. The draft sheild will help in some situations, it all depends on the amount of draft travelling across the scale. Some labs may have air blowers or heaters which will effect the weight reading if the draft sheild is not used.
